Study Abroad Fair Set for Sept. 27

If taking a semester-long hiatus to a foreign country sounds like fun to you, it’s time to check out Study Abroad. Maybe like you, I always had the notion that studying in another country was designated for the Modern Languages department, but this is far from true.

Regardless of your major, there is a program for you. Learn French in Quebec, Chinese in Liaocheng, or Spanish in Nerja. Spend time in the British economic industry of London, provide health care services in the Dominican Republic or teach English as a second language in Nicaragua.

The opportunities are truly endless for our diverse student body, but don’t take my word for it.

Check out the Study Abroad Fair on Thursday, Sept. 27 at 11 a.m. in front of the Library Technology Center.

College is the time to spread your wings, fly the coop, live life to the fullest (for lack of a better pun) and study abroad is the perfect way to do just that.
