Kaitlin Hames, a rising junior majoring in English, will return as the editor of The Saint for the fall 2012 semester.
“Kaitlin has been incredibly efficient and organized in keeping the staff on track and promoting new ideas for the paper this spring,” said newspaper adviser and Journalism instructor Ron Martz.
Hames served as assistant editor last fall and took over as editor in the spring.
The Saint is wrapping up its fourth year of publication as an online only newspaper and this spring had its largest number of student journalists (more than 20) and editors (7) in the paper’s history.
“The quality of work and variety of stories this spring are a result of Kaitlin’s leadership and I look for an even bigger and better product in the fall,” Martz said.
